Vietnamese Coffee inspired stout, canned 2020/10/29
Pours a med frothy thick tan almost 1 finger head with moderate retention, nice soapy lacing, basically black beer
Nose tons of fresh roasted coffee, fresh darker roasted coffee, nutty with a bit of a pistachio aroma going on, some baking spices and cinnamon note, some creamy lactose, a touch of fudge and some dark chocolate, roasted malts, tons of fresh coffee grounds
Taste comes on rich again, loads of coffee, dark roasted coffee grounds, fresh earthy coffee, a bit nutty again, some dark chocolate and fudge again, a bit of bitterness from roast and coffee, more spices as well, cinnamon like, and toasted nuts, creamy lactose and condensed milk semi sweet like, roasted malts, and a touch of spicy hop, semi dry semi sweet finish, a touch sticky, roasted coffee and lactose lingering
Mouth is fuller bod, creamy rich, med frothy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall pretty nice, thankfully not too sweet, great coffee, lactose isn't overpowering and meshes well
