Canned 3/2/21
This is a beer that I've forgotten about for quite some time now, and I found it at the perfect time. Just got back from a sweaty mosh pit with Dropkick Murphys and Rancid, so I need something tart and refreshing. I'm hoping this can fill that role. Let's crack it open and see what it's all about
Pours a cloudy light gold with 2 fingers of fast fading white head that results in a very thin ring and no lacing
This uber-fruity nose is the reason this beer was calling my name tonight, just a nice simple fruit bomb. I'm picking up on aromas of juicy peach, tart mango, light wheat, doughy malt, and a touch of white grape
Beyond refreshing in taste, chuggable actually. Again, this is exactly what I'm looking for right now. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting juicy peach, white grape, lemon zest, doughy malt, and very light earthy hops. The swallow brings notes of white peach, mango skin, crackery malt, and lime juice
A medium body pairs with moderate scrubbing carbonation, resulting in an ultra tart and crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry with an increasing level of tartness
For a run of the mill fruited sour, it's doing everything I want it to. I could throw back quite a bit of this. Might have to pick up a few cans of this tomorrow before Henri hits us for a few days
