From the brewer:
Mango Ice Cream. IPA
Summer vibes include a giant melted mango ice cream bar in a glass. Subtly hopped with Simcoe and Motueka, this IPA is unapologetically tropical.
Hazy but not cloudy, the liquid has a green hue to the dirty gold color. Minor head. After the initial spots, no leaving after the first sip.
The smell is creamy with some fresh floral hop cones added later in the brew.
Sweeter start. I get a good dollop of yeast to the taste. Moderate body with an elevated level of carbonation. I don’t get any mango or other tropical fruit despite the description. Slightly sour finish and nearly devoid of any bitterness. The aftertaste is like a sweeter version of a SweetTart.
