Deep, dark brown color where light only passes along the edge. Smaller but lasting light beige head. Some slippery streaks and spots.
Darker chocolate nose with no notable sweetness or milk.
Relatively thin with an elevated carbonation. First impression is of semisweet chocolate chips. The finish becomes slightly more bitter, perhaps from the presence of hops (although I couldn’t isolate the flavor, it feels like the chocolate became darker.
