Two finger head on the bartenders initial pour. It recedes slowly and leaves a full blanket of lace. The liquid is dirty gold and clear.
The smell is well balanced with a softer pale malt and an attractive floral hop aroma.
This is a solid western IPA. It has plenty of mostly dry malt flavor and enough hop to provide a bitter balance. The body and carbonation are as expected for the style. Moderate aftertaste. Overall, a very drinkable IPA.
