From the brewer: “Tropical fruit forward, dry-hopped oat pale ale. Golden promise base malt along with a hefty blend of flaked and malted oats provide a comfy setting to a vibrant pairing of Nectaron and Vic Secret hops.”
Cloudy, milkshake straw color. Dense, but small, head. Ring lace initially. Mostly spots thereafter.
Strong weedy aroma from the hops. Slightly dank. The pale malt is clean smelling but faint.
Thinner body than I expected from an oat-laden offering. Average to elevated carbonation. The hop dominates the taste with the pale malted barley in the background. Weedy and grassy in equal measures with a peppery bite. The swallow is less bitter than the aftertaste
