From the brewer:
Snuggle up to this English Brown Porter brewed in collaboration with Southie Cookie (South Boston, MA). Single origin cocoa nibs provide an additional layer of chocolate sweetness amongst notes of toffee and caramel.

Impressive twice-poured head—although purposely small, it’s dense like a nitro-pour should be. The liquid is dark brown where no light passes through at all.
Dark chocolate smell with a bit of burnt toast in the background. Some chalk and a touch of cream completes the aroma.
The flavor is very much enhanced by the smoothness from the nitrogen “carbonation”. It feels rich which forwards the semisweet/darker chocolate flavors. There’s a touch of burnt malt but this is correctly categorized as an English Porter and not a dry stout. Very flavorful and complex. Too bad this is a limited release.
