Served on tap in a pint glass

Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades quite fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.

The aroma is strong of a grapefruit and light orange smell mixed with notes of pine and a bit of breadiness. Along with these smells comes a touch of grain and a little bit of tropical fruit.

Taste – The taste follows the nose rather well. It starts with a bready malt flavor mixed with orange and grapefruit hop tastes. There is also a bit of pine and some tropical fruits of papaya and mango. As the taste advances the citrus fades a touch only to be replaced by some light apricot and peach, taking to the taste to the end and leaving one with a rather easy natured and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was medium in thickness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation level. Both were good for the style and the tastes, making for a rather easy sipper.

Overall – A rather decent brew overall.

Light to medium gold color and nearly clear. Small but dense head that leaves extensive blanketing lace.

The smell is mostly evergreen with some citrus rind in the wings. This covers up any possible pale malt aromas.

Spritzy with a neutral body, there is a (very) brief light malt presence on the initial sip. The bitterness appears well before the swallow culminating in the finish and long, slowly fading aftertaste. In summary, this is a bubbly, hop laden west coast style beer.
