Ruby brown color with light passing through the center of the glass. Small but lasting beige head that leaves extensive thinner streaks on the glass.

Mild aroma with some white toast, light sugar, and a faint metallic nose.

High level of carbonation and a lighter body than expected—it’s more like a brown ale than a Doppelbock. The flavor, while sweet, is comparatively dry to the style. There is some darker malt toastiness. The aftertaste lingers with the aforementioned brown bread flavors.
