Dark brown with no light padding. Beige head that settles to rim bubbles. It leaves several streaks.
Dark Baker’s chocolate nose. Light chalkiness along with powdered cocoa.
Semisweet. It’s like honey was added to Baker’s chocolate. Low carbonation makes for a syrupy feel. The swallow is boozy, making the aftertaste similar to a brandy but not as sweet. I don’t detect any coffee or burnt malts. This is like an “imperial” Porter.
