On-tap at the brewery, poured into a tulip/snifter.
A- A typically cloudy, golden body. The head was slight, and left a little stick that tended to fall back into the body.
S- A mango-chili brew that was delicate on the mango and packed a solid punch of chili pepper. There was an underlying sweetness. All in all, fresh and aromatic.
T- It hit all the right notes. A good combination of a base brew that was wheaty and a little funky. The mango was rather soft up front and through the middle. Chilies came through in the finish with a warmth that was ever present without getting overdone.
M- Medium body with medium-light carbonation. Nice and creamy. Bone dry finish.
O- I've really been enjoying chili beers lately, and this one was dialed in. Just the right amount that it doesn't get lost in the sweetness and doesn't overpower. I could have done another pint or two, it was that refreshing. I may just need to go back for another before my trip is up.
