Poured from undated 16 oz can.
A: Slightly hazy golden yellow with 2-3 finger white head. Moderate retention and lacing.
S: Orange zest, sweet cream, vanilla, and fresh pine. Biscuit malts.
T: Mix of resinous pine, sweet milk sugars, vanilla, and oranges. Bitterness is a little up front to sell the theme of a creamsicle, and the lactose is a little off putting for an IPA.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Finish is sweet and bitter at the same time.
O: Interesting idea and glad I tried it but this is a miss for me.

Feel this is significantly undercarbonated.

A solid Citra IPA, the vanilla and lactose don't get in the way of the beer in the way I had feared. It reminds me of the Dogtown Citrusiness from Lagunitas.

Nice balanced American IPA. Good viscosity, nice color, and a good balance between subtle biscuit sweetness and hops.
I taste vanilla, pineapple, and hops. Yummy.

Poured into an IPA glass. A slightly hazy golden-amber color with a modest bright white head. The foam slowly retreated, leaving sheets on the glass. It did smell as hoped: oranges, sweet cream, pineapple. Faint bready malt. Wow, the taste was distinctive: tangy sweet oranges, and milky sweetness. Not overly sweet or cloying. Medium-bodied and dry enough on the finish for me. The IPA-level bitterness was there but took a backseat until the finish. Nice beer.
