Enlightenment is the substrate of consciousness. Connecting the turbulence of the mind to inner peace. Creating temporal dislocation to invoke abstraction, learning to be more present. This beer was made by these enlightened ones.

Poured from 375 ml bottle.
A: Coca-cola brown with 1-2 finger light tan head. Fairly short retention and leaving only very light lacing.
S: Roasted malts, baked bread, caramel, toffee and hints of orange zest.
T: Fresh baked bread, roasted malts, and caramel. Light toffee notes. Flavors seem to bloom after warming up some.
M: Medium body with light carbonation. Perhaps a touch thin but the alcohol is extremely well hidden.
O: Very enjoyable wee-heavy. A touch on the expensive side.

Poured into a snifter. Muddy brown color with a generous and rich tan head. Bready aroma. Nice sweet caramel, toffee, and candied oranges on the nose. Smooth, sweet malt on the palate: toffee, caramel, and roasted coffee. There was a pleasant lingering toffee sweetness on the finish. A bit thin on the feel and not too sweet. A nice warming but not boozy. A great sipper.

More big thanks to Buck89 for another solid Mantra offering from NBS BIF 5
Pours dark brown, thick looking, a finger of dark tan foam that slowly recedes to well knit ring and skim.
Med. strength aroma, but what an aroma it is! Caramel and brown bread with some light herbal bitter are the stars here.
Take the aroma, boost the herbal notes a touch, add a touch of roasty goodness, and make the caramel and brown bread even tastier than expected and you have this baby's taste.
Perhaps a touch thin for style, but all else here is within guidelines. Nice clean finish. Alcohol exceptionally well hidden.
Very tasty wee heavy that I am so happy to have in glass. Recommended for sure.
