This was a good beer but nothing about it screamed British to me. The body and hop levels were good but the varieties were not right. There was no breadiness to the malt and the hops were very American giving a citrusy aroma.
It was more like they took an American ipa and toned it down to call it English. I'm not saying it was bad, I probably would have rated it higher if I hadn't been looking for a British styled beer.
Nice for an easier drinking ipa just don't go looking for a British ipa from the London bridge resort area
