on tap at the barley bro's
A: poured a jet black with a good finger amber head and some good lacing that stuck to the glass.
S: lots of coffee and toffee notes up front with of course some roasted and chocolate malts with a slight hint of hops in the background. booze was well hidden in this mixture of indgredients.
T: right away I got the lovely coffee espresso notes accompanied by the chocolate roasty malts that loaded up the palate with a silky smooth flavor with hints of hops on the back end.
M: meduim to full bodied beer with a good amount of bubbly carbonation to accent this dark madness.
D: I will definitely be picking up a growler of this to take back to CA to share with my BA buds.
