A bottle left over after GABF judging and given to me as a reward for my volunteer efforts. Pours a two finger dark brown head over a pitch liquid. Smells cocoa nib, fine coffee vanilla, and butterscotch. Mild hop grassiness.

Tastes like the rich milk chocolate filling you find in the middle of a quality dark chocolate. Strong hazelnut, gentle coffee and vanilla with a finish that's drying and of high-end hot cocoa powder. Acidic finish with strong fine drying carbonation. Mild esters and clean hop bittter. Not much beer character, but interesting use of chocolate.
