This is incorrectly listed as a pilsner (by me - mea culpa). More farmhouse style. Auburn with a nice rocky head. Balanced yeast and malt character, subtle European hop presence. Clean medium feel and finish. Quite dry. Thinking of this as something like an amber table beer, a biere de garde light (less body, carbonation, maltiness, or assertive spice). This makes is sound insipid, but it's not. It fits that space a lighter American Amber would, but given a European twist. As with an American Amber, very flexible in pairing with food, possesses some substance but is still easy drinking. As their base beer to pair with a large number of menu items, fits the bill.
