Olhão 17/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from Jumbo Supermarket. Drawing of a scene with happy street musicians on the label.
Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is of citrus and Belgian yeast. Quite tart. Humid musty cellar and a bit of pie malts. Lemon.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Almost flat texture.
Flavor follows the nose. Medium strong sweetness followed by a pronounced citric sourness. Light notes of yeast in the aftertaste. Semi dry finish.
A bit on the sour side, but refreshing after a long day at the Beach.

Cerveza de color dorado con un cordón espumoso de retención media. Ligera y de carbonatación media. Aroma herbáceo y a malta. En boca es ligeramente amarga con un retrogusto muy corto.

Poured to a tulip glass.
A: The head is a two-finger long white foam with a very crystal clear yellow body showing not much carbonation.
S: In the aroma, you can smell the presence of the hops with a hint of sweetness in the smell.
T: It's a great combination between a good hoppy profile to a citrusy end, meeting a yeasty flavor in between.
M: It's very well carbonated, being very smooth. It has a low count of IBUs (22) but the end is interesting.
O: Overall, Dois Corvos Avenida seems like a clone of Leffe Blond with some soul. Very interesting beer.
