Olhão 18/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from Jumbo Supermarket. Pale fellow and his dog enjoying their APA at a table. They actually does not look very happy about it -so I hope it is not this beer they are "enjoying".
Pours hazy orange/amber with a great white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Sweet fruity aroma with exotic fruit like mango and passion fruit. Light citric notes.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is well balanced between sweet exotic fruit and citric bitterness.
Well crafted even though I miss a more prominent bitterness to truly make me enthusiastic.

Poured cold into a tulip glass presented small clear head that dissipated quickly. Showed no signs of lacing. The color was a cloudy pale orange, almost copperish with some signs of little floculation due to the visible yeast deposit in the bottle bottom. In terms of aroma is a very citrusy American Pale, with a considerable hop presence, like it should be, and hints of pale roasted malts. The mouthfeel is not perfect and the body seemed preety light to me. Tastes of hops and has a quite malty bitter in the finish, that was not due to the ABV, that rests at 5,6 creating no dryness. All in all, a beer that I would recomend for the experience but not a treasure to keep, still, worth the money, will grab it again.
