Almost black, two fingers of light brown foam.
Light toasted smell, with cappuccino.
Toaste taste, light chocolate, a touch of lactose.
Well balanced, pleasant, with coffee and vanilla.

Nice Portuguese Milk Stout of an opaque dark dark brown color and a light browny foam which has some acidity that reminds me of a Brazilian tropical fruit called Pitanga. Foam leaves a fine lace.
Smell is sweet and nicely fruity, but not strong. The highlights are the notes of chocolate and red fruits. There's a subtle chantilly note here which reminds me of having strawberries with chantilly. There's some acidity also in the smell.
Taste is similar, with notes of roasted barley malt in the end that comes together with some bitterness (not high at all).
Body and carbonation are at average, but I thought a milk stout should be more smooth (I can't remember other milk stout I've had before, it's not very much my kind of beer). Alcohol is impercetible, which is ok for a 6% ABV. I guess this beer is "to mild" :P

6ºC Poured into Tulip. Made a great head, not dense, that dissipated after some minutes, the color was light brown. Left a bit of lacing.
The beer color is a very closed dark and fuzzy brown.
The delicious acrid smell of roasted malts pops right out with the cap. Examined closely, the typical stout notes of coffee and the sweetness of chocolate are predominant.
The taste is pleasant; the taste of chocolate and burnt coffee fill the mouth, with a bit of a bitter roasty end. Weirdly, the lactose gave the beer a sweet after taste that reminded me a bit of the artificial sweetness of aspartame; I was confused.
The mouthfeel is almost perfect; the presence of the beer is bold, pleasantly carbonated and it's roundness is complemented by a creamy end. Though, I believe it's much better served and consumed while considerably cold to expose it's qualities. It's hot in here, and mine at the end of the glass was a little dead and dull.
Overall, a good experience. I keep getting surprised by the beers of Dois Corvos; Since it's a small brewery, I'm eager to found if the quality is consistent and I'll keep trying their beers. I'd recommend it, since I found it very competent and completely worth my money. Cheers!
