Drank at Café Académico, Coimbra.
A: Orange to amber opaque body, which for an IPA is not that good, with a almost non existent head.
S: The aroma is interesting because the smokiness of the beer creates a peach-y aroma being backed with pineapple and pine. But it's a bit too smoky in the end.
T: Incredibly, the taste appears to have the said peach with a pineapple profile. The problem is that in the end of the sip, the smokiness has too much expression, being too 'heavy'. It feels like the smokiness provides a more oily end to the beer but this is not very good as well. On Islays this characteristic provides a more drier feeling.
M: Low to medium body, the end is not even bitter, much more to an IPA extent.
O: I should disclose that this beer is not really my type but I find it to be, technically, lazy.
