Perfectly functual American West Coast-style IPA. Totally complimented oysters and ceviche. Nice hops. Fine malt balance.

330ml bottle from Lx Factory, Lisbon (€4.25):
Clear but bright golden with a 1cm, bubbly white head & plenty of visible carbonation. It's quite bitter with citrus & faintly resinous pine on the nose, background tropical notes & overripe fruits making up the bulk of the nose with some grassy notes, mango & papaya too. The taste is fruity too, lots of citrus, resinous pine & mango again with biscuit malts. It's quite fruity & juicy with a dry, hoppy feel that's somewhere around medium bodied with lighter than normal carbonation for the style but its sharp & balanced throughout.

Poured to a tulip glass.
A: The body is very hazy, having a mid dark orange and yellow-y touch. The head is white, showing a very good retention. There's lacing as well.
S: The aroma is soft of pineapple and resinous profiles. It's very soft, and not as in-your-face IPA aromas. This is awesome.
T: The taste is less fruity and more earthy, resinous and grassy, but still, very soft, having a more prominent malt touch than expected.
M: The body is medium high. Carbonation is perfect. No alcohol is noticed. Bitterness is mild. Simply awesome.
O: Being a New England IPA, this is a turning point on portuguese IPAs because this beer is clearly world-class.
