Poured into a Mikkeller taster glass.
A: Body is pitch black, creates no head at all but appears to be very liquid and smooth for a 11.2% ABV Imperial Stout.
S: The aroma shows some minor Imperial Stout touches in the back with some coffee shots, chocolaty tones but the front is dominated by a prominent bourbon aroma. This beer was barrel aged in bourbon casks for I don't know how long but it sure made a difference.
T: The taste actually is very enjoyable and very straightforward, as the sweetness from the corn on the bourbon connects very well with the sweetness of the chocolate. It's weird but it does taste great.
M: Body wise, it's not the best Imperial Stout, body is too low, carbonation is non-existent but sweetness still holds the thing.
