Bought at Cantinho Café. This beer has Barbe Rouge hops (appears to be from Yakima Valley Hops), Cashmere and Citra.
Poured into a teku glass from a Ball can.
A: Pours a beautiful yellow to orange body with a sustained one inch head. Some lacing. Nice carbonation.
S: There's a huge citric tone from Citra, with notes of lemon, lime, orange, kumquat like. Hidden, I feel some red berries fruitiness like a sweet sweet strawberry. Has a nice herbal final bouquet.
T: Taste starts off really sweet, almost milkshake like noting the lingering strawberry note. It then moves off to the citric notes of orange and lemon before getting to the final herbal grassy bitter note.
M: Carbonation is actually very high, higher than I expected - wanted a smoother feel. Bitterness is high and alcohol is unnoticed.
O: This is my first Barbe Rouge hop beer to my knowledge and I'm glad I had it.
