Copenhagen 18/6 2023. 33 cl can from Mikkeller and Friends Bottle Shop, Torvehallerne, Kbh. K. Black and white can with 4 Monks crossing the street Beatles style.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty, sugared odor mingling with dark alcohol and soaking wood. Caramel, toffee and brown sugar. Molasses.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous and sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong pleasant sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is caramel meeting sweet dark alcohol. Lingering. Finish sweet, sweet and potent alcohol.
Fine barrel boozer from the Monks.
