Tried a bottle in Sofia in January 2016:
A: Pours an ~8cm pale khaki head that recedes within 8 minutes. Body is an opaque black.
Sm: Dark malts. Faint cocoa powder. It's quite reticent.
T: Shallow and reticent. All i get is chocolate malt, faint cocoa powder, and dark/schwarz malts. Maybe some ashy bitterness. Simple and one-dimensional. Some might even say boring.
Mf: Medium-bodied. Smooth, wet, well-carbonated. Somewhat thin for a stout. Acidic - almost harshly so.
O: there isn't a harmony of texture and taste and the flavour profile is severely lacking given the style. Drinkable albeit forgettable, this isn't a beer I'd buy again or recommend to friends.

Picked up while in Sofia. Not great. Drinkable, but nothing to seek out again. Dark with garnet edges, tiny cap of khaki foam. Head vanishes and a little lace is left. Some malt and caramel on the nose, mild, but expressed a little more in the flavor. Mouthfeel is a little prickly. A valiant attempt by a craft brewer in the land of Euro lagers. I'll try more by Blek Pine, just probably not this stout.
