L- This beer is labeled an oak aged smoked Golden Ale. Looks a lot like juice with barely any head. Golden in color. Some floaters present. Definitely a sour looking ale.
S- Immediate grape aroma followed by a smoked chipotle aroma and sour finish on the nose. Toasted barley is present, as well as oak.
T- Follows the nose very well. This beer is extremely complex. A grape-like quaint fruity flavor is present, followed by a nice sour bite, some notes of roasted oak and a fiery chipotle finish.
F- Nice and fizzy. Light bodied.
O- Very interesting and well made sour. I loved every sip of it. The spice is handled extremely well too. Oddly refreshing, and oddly satisfying. If you're in the Boulder area, check these guys out. I know there are too many breweries for the town but this one is pretty interesting. I love the thought process and execution in this beer.
