Can notes: "West coast IPA simcoe, centennial & citra hops"
No canning date, however, they said it was the most recent one they canned. Consumed 12/13/2020.
A&S: lively translucent copper brew. The head is fizzy and very off-white (almost a very light tan). Specks of lacing is left along the glass. The aroma consists mainly of citrus, sweet malts, grassy/flowery components.
T&M: Bold piney hops. Not as much citrus (although I am getting mostly grapefruit) and more malts than I expected, however, it fit well. Very easy to drink. Initially, the mouthfeel is medium body and medium crisp of carbonation. However, the carbonation burns itself out quickly and leaves the beer a little flat.
Overall: Excellent brew one of the better IPAs I have had this year. If I had to give it one note, I would say it has more of a malty backbone than I would expect from a west coast IPA. But regardless of the specific IPA category, it is worth a try. Keep up the great work Vision Quest!
