Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to moderately hazy orange amber with a fine, two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, orange, yuzu, light mixed tropical fruit and grapefruit, a bit estery. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and a little banana; like the aroma, very estery. Pleasant bitter finish with residual, lingering fruit esters. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This IPA had some of the brightest fruit aromas and flavor of anything I've tasted in a long time. The fruit combo is kind of like a tropical fruit punch, but with more citrus and quite a nice blend of flavors. Although I'm not a big fan of fruit forward hazy IPAs, hybrids like this, with great fruit but a decent bitterness are a great side effect. Something about the fruit combo in this one really appealed to me. This was not a fresh can, but the hops are still fresh and inviting. I look forward to trying something else from this brewery.
