Clear golden pour with a large, bright white head. The aroma shows simple notes of malt and light fruit. The flavor is malty and moderately sweet, with the alcohol mostly hidden yet still making its presence known in the finish. Overall, respectable for the style.

We would go fishing at Lake Matinenda and get this at the duty free when we went over the border. Maybe you can get this in the US now, I have no idea. The most fun I have ever had with my dad drinking cases of this over the week of fishing. Goes great with lake trout and no electricity. I wouldn't drink this now probably but it makes me think of my dad.

Appearance is a clear golden with a medium head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is cardboard, grandma's hard candy that has been sitting in a drawer for 5 years, and some sweet malt backing. I can smell some light hops on the nose too. Taste is kinda bad. That cardboard and bready malt is not great. Palate has a light lingering funkiness. Overall, I don't know why I punish myself like this. Cheers!

Put it into this perspective.
I can appreciate a good beer.
I mainly drink easy to drink social beers like Miller, coors light, yuengling, heineken. Basics. My hurdle isn't high. If I stumbled on coors light but 99 cents for a deuce, I'd rate it a 4.
From the first sip, even at ice cold...the taste, feel, smell is all offensive. Disgusting to a diabolical level. Not since four oh malk licky have I ever been so repulsed.

Molson XXX ( triple x) is Molson’s attempt to dabble in the malt liquor beer market. It’s price reflects its other flagship beers, but falls much short on reflecting what it is suppose to be competing with. Generally seen and sold in 12oz glass bottles in 6 or 12 pack designs its market is for the boozed up college crowd who wants to look somewhat classy.
Overall: it used to be quite popular some 15+ years ago. Today it’s fizzled out a lot in popularity everywhere, but can still be found on the shelves in many stores. It’s nothing to write home about, and it feels a bit steep in price for its lack thereof quality.

L: Moderate yellow, the head lingers and leaves some lacing but not super foamy.
S: Mildly sweet smell and barley malt.
T: More malt than anything. Sweet, but not enough to offend. No harsh alcohol or medicinal flavors (impressive considering the style and ABV). It definitely tastes like a malt liquor, but in a good way. Not noticing the corn flavor (probably still has corn syrup in there).
F: Medium carbonation, medium body, does not linger.
O: Considering the style, price, and ABV, it's pretty good. It's inching pretty close to Steel Reserve's niche and doesn't taste gross at all. Would recommend trying it for those who like the style.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a can glass
This beer pours a brilliant amber hue and is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Sweet, malty aroma with some grain and grass scents.
Sweet taste upfront. Actually, the sweetness carries throughout the taste. Not much in the way of hops. Hints of alcohol.
Medium bodies with an almost syrupy mouthfeel
I am just happy to get a 12 pack of "super premium" beer with all these $20-25 four packs out there. Fantastic value for the money. This used to be my go-to beer at my local Moose Lodge. It was $2 a bottle there.

It's a malt liquor from Canada.
It's crystal clear, pale yellow and has very little head.
The flavor is semi- sugary sweet with an unpleasant, harsh alcohol presence.
There is NO hop character or bitterness.
It's better than a malt liquor from the US.
That is all.
Drink accordingly.
