Our double dry-hopped (Citra and Azacca) hazy IPA was one of the first beers we ever canned and it continues to be a taproom favorite. Notes of melon, citrus and soft mango.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit, some tropical notes. Taste is more of the standard NEIPA fare, citrusy tropical fruity. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I tried a can of this beer at my bestie's country club, Cabarrus, just outside of Charlotte NC. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that left some lace. The scent had dank fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle tropical fruit peel spice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base and tropical fruit highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Promise Ring - High Branch
IPA - 6.2% abv

L - 3-finger yellowish head atop a translucent orange body.

S - orange, pine, candy.

T - sweet orange candy. A very odd anise/licorice taste follows. Piney middle. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium-full body with average carb.

O - the sweet licorice taste ruins this for me. Not sure if this is a flaw or intentional, but it clashes with the hops and distracts from the other qualities of this brew.

Appearance: Arrives murky and honey colored with a thick white head that leaves clumps of lace

Smell: Papaya, berry and peach tones

Taste: Papaya and berry forward with peach flavors rounding out; through the middle, some pithy grapefruit bitterness builds and that tone lingers through the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A nice NE IPA with some delicate fruit flavors and a nice, citrusy finish
