Motueka, Ella, and Vic Secret hops in this Hazy IPA. We get lingering tropical fruits, a spicy edge, and floral hop character. Used a lot of oats in this one for a silky mouthfeel.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and goldenstraw colored with a two finger head; spotty lacing

Smell: Papaya, passionfruit and white grapefruit with hints of lime and white wine grape

Taste: Papaya forward, with white wine grape and passionfruit developing; moderately pithy with a white grapefruit edge, through the middle; the somewhat dry finish presents a spicy bitterness, with just a hint of lime

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; creamy

Overall: Subtle flavors here, as one would expect from the hops used

A: Pours an extremely murky milky golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale golden yellow + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy creamy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/lime, spicy, floral, and herbal hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit + honey malts with a light amount of honey sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + honey malts with a light amount of honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/lime, spicy, floral, and herbal hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving light lingering tropical + citrus hop flavors.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth, almost creamy with a moderate amount of soft fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with very well hidden alcohol and a really pleasant mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a nice citrus/tropical/floral/herbal/spicy hop profile. Definitely one that I would grab again.

My bestie got me a can of this. It poured a cloudy yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit bliss. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
