A new Hazy Double IPA which is the Double version of Promise Ring. All the same hop varieties (Citra and Azacca) just more of them! Coming in at 7.7% ABV it’s on the lower end for a Double IPA however it is incredibly drinkable and packed with citrus, pineapple, and mango flavors from the hops.

A: Pours a murky milky pale golden orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + lemon yellow + apricot + peach + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to heavy amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/pineapple + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/mango + tropical/papaya + citrus/tangerine zest hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + honey + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of honey + sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + honey + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of honey + sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/pineapple + citrus/grapefruit + tropical/mango + tropical/papaya + citrus/tangerine zest hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving moderate lingering tropical + citrus hop flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasantly creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with lots of tropical hop flavors + aromas. Not quite as juicy as some of the others but still one that I could definitely have again.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy goldenstraw with a one finger head; streaky lacing
Smell: Pineapple, papaya and pomelo with a hint of green mango
Taste: Papaya and pineapple forward, with a hint of green mango building; pomelo, in the middle, adds a bitter, citrusy edge; while there is some sweetness on the tip of the tongue, the finish is dry and somewhat austere
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not as juicy as some of High Branch's other DIPAs but still with some nice tropical flavors
