A: Pours a murky medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium to dark golden yellow + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy pillowy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, floral, tropical/papaya, and herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of toasted + biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of toasted + biscuit + oat + wheat + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit, floral, tropical/papaya, and herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving lingering herbal + citrus + floral hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slight amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant mouthfeel though not quite as soft & fluffy as some other examples in the style. Enjoyable with a more unusual hop profile for an NEIPA, not as juicy as some but still quite present with minimal bitterness.
