Lightly Toasted

We took an Imperial Stout aged in a select bourbon barrel and blended it with a non barrel-aged Stout (2/3 barrel aged to 1/3 not barrel aged) to create a thick and luscious base beer. From there, we aged the beer on toasted Madagascar Vanilla Beans and Cacao Nibs/Husks from Videri Chocolate Factory in Raleigh. We get assertive notes of dark chocolate, light bourbon, and a mouth coating vanilla character.
