Grisette listed at 5% on the bottle. Best by May 6, 2022. Purchase price was between $4-5. Review from notes.
Appearance - Pale golden colour with some haze. An impressive three fingers of head that stay a while.
Smell -Slightly skunked out of the bottle, but in the glass some wheat, pepper, yeast and a general spiciness.
Taste - some wheat, an interesting powdery sweetness with subtle notion of cinnamon sugared doughnuts. Earthy funk in behind but not much substance the flavour initially. The cinnamon sugared doughnuts show up more the farther you get into the brew.
Mouthfeel - light bodied, highly carbonated. Dry finish.
Overall - Better than I thought it would be and powdery doughnuts lightly covered in cinnamon sugar isn't a bad combo.
