Look: It pours very dark brown with a brown creamy head.
Smell: It has vinous aromas with some leather and barn house notes. There are some whiskey elements and roast. There are light hints of banana.
Taste: It has some roasted flavors with vinous elements and whiskey. There are background wood flavors with leather and low barn house notes.
Feel: It has a full body with woody, whiskey and funky finish.
Overall, the flavor combinations just didn't work for me. It didn't seem to blend together to support each element.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark brown color and an opaque texture. There was a small amount of foamy, off white head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A kind of underwhelming aroma of malt, dark fruit, hops, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of some mild chocolate notes (not quite enough), lots of malt, dark fruit (plums, raisins), some boozy notes, light hops (mostly in the finish), and a tinge of coffee. Like the aroma, the flavor was pretty underpowered, with none of the ingredients standing out. Not terrible, but not interesting either.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is a disappointing beer with some okay qualities. Could have been better, though.
