Appearance: The liquid shows a cloudy raspberry color with a modest head that leaves spots of lacing
Smell: Tart prickly pear tones are distinctive
Taste: Lactic and tart, with the prickly pear making a strong play to command the taste buds; somewhat funky, in the middle, with a touch of residual sweetness which was a surprise, given the choice of fruit here
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation; puckery
Overall: Color me impressed by this beer, both in the unusual choice of fruit as well as the execution
