Found this place via Yelp/TripAdvisor when visiting Rome. It is an easy walk from the subway stop and not that far from the center of Rome, yet far enough away that it isn't full of tourists. Actually, we were the only tourists there.
Overall vibe of the place is a small, neighborhood bar that caters towards the younger crowd, but has a good mix of people. They have ~8-12 taps that have a good selection of Italian crafts and a few from other countries. A chalkboard displays the beers and styles (styles in English) and they have a wide variety of styles. The only knock I will have on the beers is that they are consistently poured with a 2 inch head. Aside from that, the quality of the beer is perfect.
The food here is basic bar food, but done a little nicer. I had a burger that was pretty good and we had onion rings as an appetizer. The onion rings were nothing special, but also not bad. One fun thing is that they serve malted barley with your beers.
The biggest win here is the service. Both bartenders/waitresses that helped us were very, very nice. Being a local place, they don't speak much English, but make every effort to communicate in English and will help describe anything that they can find words for. The service level is very Italian, so if you need something, just wave and ask because they won't stop and check on you (but that isn't the culture).
Overall, the awesome staff made this one of our favorites meals on our trip to Italy. The beer was great, the good was good, and the people were just awesome!
