A rich & robust coffee porter made using College Station's very own, What's the Buzz coffee.
We use a blend of Brewer's 2-row, Vienna, Crystal, Chocolate & Roasted malt to create a deeply rich yet refreshing porter with natural notes of coffee, dark chocolate and caramelized sugar.
Finally, we add a generous amount of cold-pressed coffee to produce what we believe to be the best damn coffee porter in Texas.

Nice, rich flavorful coffee porter.
Had it at the brewery poured into a a clear plastic cup. Even still, the beer had a nice head and great lacing. Deep dark brown color. Coffee and dark chocolate smell and taste. Coffee flavors not overwhelming. Smoothed out with some taste of pumpernickel toast. Overall a very nice beer.

for being more than a little bit old, this one still drank really nicely, surprisingly well honestly. the base porter is big and dense, loaded with dark bitter barley and layering up from there with some mid weight crystal providing some sweetness and roundness, and something lighter giving it a fresh bready vibe as well. the coffee is strong in both aroma and flavor, just how i like it, and doesnt seem to have oxidized at all. it has an ashy roast to it, some dark chocolate character, and a hint of raisin with the malt sweetness, really compelling. its crazy to think that the coffee has likely faded, because its still so forward in this, very earthen and charred, but with all the body here its so smooth. the flavor here is long, and as it warms things like tobacco and wood come out of it, bitter from coffee, dark malts, and this raw cocoa thing. super full flavored beer, great coffee too obviously, id love to try a cup on its own. my first beer from these guys was a great surprise, and ill look forward to more of their stuff in the future. this is what coffee porter should be!

Not my choice of style or flavor. Please do not judge this beer by my review if porters And especially coffee porters are your thing. Not mine and I apologize.

First time trying this one, and it's a good one. Basic impression is quite delicious. Lots of coffee taste, a nice body, great drinkability, smooth mouthfeel. Definitely a good coffee beer.

Poured 3 cans from the same 6 pack. Each had different levels of carbonation. One was essentially flat. It has a slick mouthfeel with kind of muddled coffee flavors. The coffee comes through on the nose. It needs some work to perfect it.

Appearance: Black glass, mostly opaque with some ruby edges. Tan foam doesn't hold a cover, but a solid halo.
Aroma: Rich coffee and malt, some earthy hop notes.
Taste: Burnt grain, slight Stout sour, coffee, with a little sugary finish that rounds out the package nicely.
Mouthfeel: Heavy body, small chew, low carbonation leaves it a frothy.
Overall: A tasty beer. Goes a bit more Stout than Porter in my book, but who cares? Fairly clean, rich coffee, rich malt, worth a 6 pack to try it out!
