On tap into a stout glass. Pours a dark black color with a fingernail head that doesn't leave lacing. Nose of vanilla and chocolate. Taste is vanilla, toasted hazelnut, and an underlying note of chocolate with a creamy finish. Full body and low carbonation.
The hazelnut came out to play once the beer warmed up a bit. A very upfront vanilla that dominated while it was still chilled. A nice variation to create with their base milk stout.
