32 oz. crowler filled on April 11 and opened April 12, 2020, poured into tight nonic from Blackwater Draw
(I think the board showed this batch is 4.1% or 4.2% ABV, but I could be misremembering)
L: murky opaque yellow, very light, topped by half-inch head of white/off-white foam; a little sticking off head
S: grapefruit, grapefruit peel, orange peel, lime peel, light hint of sweet biscuit malt
T: follows the nose with an earthy flavor mid- to late swallow and in the aftertaste, not overly bitter but earthy enough to tame the malt sweetness; grapefruit and grapefruit peel are the main flavors
F: fantastic all around, simple, midweight with a good layer of crispness
O: I wanted a relatively low ABV brew with plenty of flavor, and BWD delivered; the crowler worked great and probably would've lasted in my fridge for at least a week

This is an example of the Houston Daisy Chain beers started after Hurricane Harvey in 2017. A common yeast has been used in a variety of beers from breweries in and around Houston.
A nice hoppy pale ale. Poured from a growler filled at the brewery into a tulip glass. Hazy light yellow with a foamy white head and great lacing. Pleasant lemon citrus smell and taste. Enjoyed it with dinner.
