This is advertised as barrel aged and its relatively high ABV bears this out.
I had this from tap at the brewery. It was poured into a tall fluted glass. Purple-brown color with thin initial head and little lacing (common for this style). Smell and taste of a sweet red wine, almost like a sangria. Some tartness and a hint of booze in the background. The beer is good but I will miss the oud Bruin.
