Copenhagen 31/8 019. 33 cl bottle from AlkoSpot, Chmielna, Gdansk. What looks like a Bullseye in purple on the label. The version I am drinking seems to be a 2018 edition with an ABV of 9,0.
Pours opaque dark brown with a medium-sized light beige head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of consistent foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, roasted and a bit salty. Chocolate of the dark variety, caramel, dark roasted malts, salty licorice, tobacco. Bitter coffee.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, creamy, soft texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a medium strong coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter sweet. Lingering for a long while.
Nice fat, sweet boozer which manages to hide it's ABV pretty good.

Dark brown color with mocha head. Aroma has sweet toasted malts, cookies, brownie batter, liquor filled chocolate pralines and some tobacco. Taste has a light sweetness at first but gets more roasty and bitter towards the finish. Lots of chocolate fudge throughout, brownies, muffins, just a bit of alcohol warmth. Body is quite heavy with a soft carbonation. A really well made and tasty imperial porter.
