Wow. Awesome beer. It states on the bottle that is is dry hopped, brett fermented, and oark aged. The oak is not apparent but the brett and dry hops are. The beer is very dry. A lovely golden color and has great clarity. The brett comes through as fruity and tropical with just a hint of funk. Very drinkable. Really enjoyed this.

this is an interesting development for these guys, a dry hopped oak aged brett pale. i believe it is 100% brett fermented, and marks a certain evolution of their house culture from when they first started brewing and everything tasted so young and new and sort of minimal. this is a much more developed beer, with the funky brett right there all the way, still kind of a subtle strain it seems, but the beer is dry and the flavor is there, so obviously its working. the oak tastes new to me, a little sweet for a second with the malts, and with a touch of vanilla and white wine to it as well. i still think the beer is a little immature, or rather simple on the yeast side of things, its almost like the brett would be better off as a second pitch in the oak, and that this would have done well with a regular ale yeast or even a saison strain on the initial fermentation, like it got started slow and some elements are not quite there, like the brett had to work too hard so its tired now or something, hard to pinpoint, but as much as its got some funk to it, its not as lively and upbeat as the best of these. the hops are nice, not over the top and not at all bitter, a really nice freshness to them, and a little citrus thats super compatible with the floral brett. a few steps from being amazing, but their wild beers keep getting better, and im sure it wont be long before this is phenomenal.
