Nitro on tap.
Pours dark red-brown with a thin tan head.
The nose is coffee, chocolate, and a generic grainy "beer" character (think macro lager). Hints of leather and smoke.
The taste is chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, and root beer. Drinks under 8.5% ABV, assuming the 8.5% on the menu is correct. More like a 7% stout, mostly in a good way. Smooth, simple, repeatable.
The mouthfeel is light-to-medium for the ABV.
Overall, very nice. Nothing to write home about, really, but a solid stout I'd order again.
