750ml bottle from Tavour. Dark hrown with a small, thin beige head. Aroma brings chocolate, raisins. Taste starts and finishes sweet, withe rum barrel having the biggest influence on this beer. Not a lot of warmth up front, sort of simmers in the background and warms from the gut up. Light on the Belgian yeast, but tasty.

Pours dark brown-red, near-black, with a persistent film of tan head.
The nose is mild. Cherry, caramel, raisin, and grape.
The taste is a balanced blend of similar flavors. Cherry, grape, caramel, chocolate. Hints of barrel, bitterness, and herbal depth.
The mouthfeel opens medium and finishes dry.
Overall, very good.
