Pours lightly hazy red-brown with a persistent off-white head.
The nose is bourbon, cherry, orange peel, dark chocolate, and caramel.
The taste follows, with bourbon, cherry, and orange peel at the forefront. Hints of malty depth.
The mouthfeel is light to medium for the style. Somewhat lacking.
Overall, good. Tasty and complex. Could use a more full, luxurious feel to really put it over the top. I enjoyed the 4 year anniversary beer a bit more.
