Looks very orange, not clear at all, not much head but plenty of lacing. Smells extremely hoppy and citrusy, not bad but not what I expected. Taste is much better especially as it warms, with lemon, citrus, and pepper, with a great malty cracker flavor and a distinct bitterness. Drinkable but definitely kinda funky and fruity, the dry hopped character is quite evident. Could be more carbonated, a little more snappy, but interesting. Not the kind of pilsner I was in the mood for but it's a cool modern take on the style. For sure has that Tennessee flavor, for anyone who's drank a lot of craft beer in the state.

A - Pours out a very hazy, milky yellow body, with some transparency. A short, dense off white head, persistent over time, small bubble lacing.
S - Funky Noble hops mingle with a line of citrus beneath.
T - The lemon citrus note opens, with a thread of cracker malts and soft peppery spiciness. Very subtle bitterness in the finish, mostly suggesting grapefruit pith.
M - Moderate carbonation, decent body for a Pilsner, meaning an easy drinker. The close is dry, with a bit of acidity that lingers after.
O - This is an interesting Pilsner, quite tasty and enjoyable, but more robust flavors and a substantial feel that links to American style craft brew while still clearly evidencing the traditional origins of this beer.
