A - Clear golden body, bright with just a touch of chill haze, a white head, very dense, fading to a thin cap. Lacing is extensive, a thin lined curtain on the glass.

S - A hit of hop spiciness, pith and pepper with citrus sitting well below but suggesting a soft juicy sweetness.

T - Follows the nose, but with grapefruit and tangerine riding high over the pepper notes, a moderate sweetness in the middle as the malt kicks in, and a solid but not punishing bitter bite in the finish.

M - Very prickly in the open, decent carbonation, with some resin presence in the close.

O - A solidly built, and quite enjoyable, West Coast IPA. It might buck trends a bit, but good is good, and this delivers.
